Elysian Residences, an award winning UK company who own, develop and operate retirement communities for people aged over 65, have been selected by the owners of the hotel to bring forward plans for the refurbishment and redevelopment of the site and if successful, will become the new owners.

We will hold another public consultation event in Q1 2025 where we will share more detailed information on the proposed design.
Established in 2013, Elysian own, develop and manage retirement communities for people aged over 65, also referred to as extra care communities.
Each retirement community we build offers spacious apartments and homes so our owners can choose to be as private or sociable as they wish and discreet and flexible care is available whenever it becomes needed. With a restaurant, café and health and wellbeing facilities on offer, our owners live life on their terms.
We have eleven retirement communities, either in development, awaiting planning or already launched and open, with around 1000 homes in the pipeline. For more information about us, please visit our website at www.elysianresidences.com.
Besides our Drop in session in November, part of our engagement includes a creative collaboration with UP Projects, a leading public art organisation who are working with local artists, Davina Drummond and Yara Elsherbini, holding a series of free workshops with local groups in Blackheath starting in November this year.
We want to involve local people and groups in the process, not only to get to know them better but also to build upon our understanding of this site and what it means to the local community.
